Faye Conte is the Board President of City Market/Onion River Co-op in Burlington, VT. She has served on the Board since 2012, and prior to that worked at the co-op from 2008-2010. Faye also represents City Market on the board of the Neighboring Food Coop Association and serves as their Board President as well. She works as the Advocacy and Education Director at Hunger Free Vermont, a statewide education and advocacy organization with the mission to end the injustice of hunger and malnutrition for all Vermonters. She is passionate about the opportunity food co-ops have to bring greater food access and ownerships to their communities and is grateful for the opportunities to bring her anti-hunger work to the food co-op sector. Faye received her Master of Science in Community Development and Applied Economics from University of Vermont and her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and International Development and Social Change from Clark University, and holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College.
