As a passionate advocate for learning from others, Maria Isley is excited to step into the role of workshop presenter at CCMA. With a background in nonprofit and board work, as well as serving as the Whole Food’s Co-op Board President, she along with co-presenter Amber Schlater, will bring a fresh perspective to the table.
Driven by a desire to share their experience and to engage with others in meaningful discussions, they aim to create an interactive and enriching experience for workshop attendees. Their approachable demeanor and dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment make them ideal facilitators for participants of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Outside of serving on the board of the Whole Foods Co-op, Maria works for Minnesota Public Radio and has served on several non-profit boards in Duluth most recently with the Ordean Foundation, Women’s Health Center, and the League of Women Voters Duluth. Maria enjoys hiking with her dogs, gardening, cooking, and swimming in Lake Superior.
