Director of Food Services, Outpost Natural Foods
After graduating with a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Leslie moved to Boston where she worked in economic development and international marketing. Along the way she received an MBA from Boston University. Acting on her love of food, Leslie received a culinary arts degree from Newbury college and moved back to her home city of Milwaukee to follow her culinary dreams. Working her way up the restaurant ladder from garde manger to co-executive chef, Leslie joined Outpost Natural Foods as the kitchen coordinator for their one store in 1997. Today Outpost has four large stores, a small market café, wholesale accounts, a catering program and a centralized kitchen production facility that provides the food for all of these endeavors.
