Elizabeth Pontefract is the Vice President of Finance and Strategy for PCC Community Markets. Founded in Seattle in 1953, PCC is the nation’s largest community-owned food market and WholeFoods Magazine’s 2016 Retailer of the Year. Prior to joining PCC, Elizabeth worked in strategy and business development for Starbucks and Outerwall (Coinstar/Redbox) and was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. She earned her JD/MBA from Harvard and a BA from Claremont McKenna College. Having worked in brick-and-mortar retail strategy for over 15 years, Elizabeth brings perspective on what differentiates successful operators who co-exist and thrive within a rapidly changing retail environment.
