David Schallich

Mr. Schallich is Senior Vice President at the National Cooperative Bank and oversees the banks Special Assets Department. In this role, he is responsible for managing commercial loans, and attempts to transition accounts towards a performing status or final resolution. He actively manages Borrower relationships ranging from $100,000 to $12 million in various sectors including grocery, hardware, real estate, and health care.

Mr. Schallich has been with National Cooperative Bank for over 30 years and has worked in various departments during his career.  Prior to joining the Special Assets team 20 years ago, Mr. Schallich worked as a credit analyst, loan review and credit officer. Over this period he developed expertise in analyzing and underwriting commercial loans, loan documentation, asset valuation, litigation and Bankruptcy.

Prior to joining NCB, Mr. Schallich worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in the Supervision and Regulation department.

He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, BBA in finance, ABA Commercial Lending School, and is RMA Credit Risk Certified.
